Montesa brand was founded in 1944 by Don Pedro Permayer and Don Paco Bulto. In 1958, the second founder left the company and established another famous Spanish brand Bultaco. Model D 51 became the first motorcycle of the company, which received brand colors of Montesa – a black motorcycle with a red tank. This is the latest model of Montesa, in which the carburetor is located to the left of the cylinder.
