With its exhaust-gas turbocharger, the 500-hp 911 Carrera RSR Turbo 2.1 is comparatively light. Its appearance is striking, thanks to its two-meter-wide rear fenders and the spectacular rear wing. The first 911 with turbo technology, the car takes second place in Le Mans in 1974 with drivers Herbert Müller and Gijs van Lennep. This racing version forms the basis for the standard-series turbo.
