This two-seater, mid-engine roadster continues the Spyder tradition with modern technology. The overwhelming response to its presentation as a show car leads to the decision to take it into series production. For technical reasons, the production Boxster differs from the design study, but nonetheless is accepted as a flawless Porsche. Though it shares some of the features of the subsequent 911 generation, it always retains its unique character.
