When mechanical removal of snow was spread all over Austrian road net, a great estimated requirement of snow-fighting vehicles and snow cutters emerged.
This sample consists of theMERCEDES BENZ truck and it has its own diesel engine on the load platform to provide mechanical draught of the snow cutter’s operating device. Farsighted government agents in Kärntner preserved this automobile and passed it to the Historama Museum in 2005.
