1986 London Roadster

The replica of the classic MG TD of 1956 on the chassis of the renowned Volkswagen Beetle was sold in the 80s mostly as a kit for a do-it yourself assembly or was assembled at the factory for an extra pay. The most part of these “kit-cars” was made with a left-hand-drive and was exported outside Britain. The manufacturer offered a number of options together with a car as for example a hardtop, fixed above a folding hood and just decorative elements. The engine of 1,300 cm3 displacement from the Beetle achieved only 50 hp.
