The Benz 8/20ps appeared to be the further development of the models 10/20ps and 8/18ps. It was provided with a 4-cylinder engine of 1,950 cm3 displacement and 20 hp capacity (14.7 kW) at 1,800 rev/min. The power was transferred to the back wheels through the 4-speed mechanical gearbox and the shaft drive. The Benz 8/20ps developed 62 km/h and consumed 14-15 l/100 km. Apart from the version with the roadster body displayed in the museum, the company produced also a phaeton and a landaulet.
