2008 McLaren-Mercedes MP4-23

The MP4-23 won its maiden race, the Australian Grand Prix in March 2008. Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes won five more races in this season and finished second in the constructors’ competition. Lewis Hamilton wrote racing history in this car, capturing the World Championship driver’s title on the last bend of the last race after finishing the previous season as runner-up.
