1896 Daimler Vis-à-Vis belt-driven car

With some 150 units built, Daimler’s belt-driven car was the first model of which Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft produced larger numbers. This car featured three inventions by Wilhelm Maybach: the Phoenix engine, the spray nozzle carburetor and belt drive.
