Model AS24 (3x3) - 4-seat airborne mini-transporter with 1270mm wheelbase and 250kg payload designed by Straussler. It was light 3-wheeled foldable cart with pipe frame and three wheels with tiny arch tyres equipped with 2-cylinder motorcycle engine (24305 cubic cm, 15 h.p.) mounted over rear solid axle, 4-speed gearbox without rear-drive, common steering wheel driving the single front wheel and mechanical drive for two rear brakes. Size of deployed variant was 1890x640x90mm, folded - 1040x640x50. The vehicle weighed just 224kg, it could tow 250kg trailer, made 57 km/h and had 200km fuel range. Its deployment after landing took just one minute. AS24 was offered in various transport, staff, ambulance, fire-fighting and combat variants. In 1961-1966 300 carts were made. They are still used by Belgian Air Force. At the moment FN still is a recognized manufacturer of various armament.
