The Tipo 26 was the first car to display the Maserati name on its grille and it's the one that, in 1926, led the Bologna firm into the world of the major manufacturers. Designed by Alfieri Maserati, it combined lightness and power with optimum road-holding and braking. 43 specimens were constructed, with various engine capacities from 11OO to 2500cc; it was the classic car for gentlemen drivers of the time.
