Electric locomotive Ae 6/6 No 11413 “Schaffhausen“ Swiss Federal Railways SBB 1956 The first 25 locomotives of the legendary Ae 6/6 series delivered in the years from 1952-1958 were given the names and coats of arms of the Swiss cantons. They were also decorated with chromium trim strips. On 6 October 1956, locomotive No11413 was christened “Schaffhausen” at a public festival in the town of Neuhausen am Rheinfall. Since then it has covered around 6,5 million kilometres.
