The Montesa Brio 81 replaced the Brio 80 in 1957. It was a very streamlined and economic motorcycle. Later the Brio 81 evolved into the Brio 82 – a motorcycle with similar characteristics. In spite of the fact that there were the Brio 80 and 82 painted in the habitual colors of the Montesa company the majority of them were painted in green trout color. The Montesa Brio 81 was equipped with a 125 сm3 engine and 18,544pcs were produced from 1957 to 1959.
