In 1987, two former pilots of Moto Trial Albert Juvanteny and Kiku Payá decided to create their own bike, using the Italian motor Villa, which was employed at the same time on a motorcycle of the company Gas Gas, and assemble the bike almost manually based on the chassis OSSA MAR.
Their purpose was to create a lightweight motorcycle which would be easy to drive. The motorcycle was named JP, according to the initials of the creators’ names. The production lasted for three years due to undeveloped structure of the ancillary industries in Spain.
