Cremsa was a Catalan brand of motorcycles issued by the company Construcciones Radio-Electro Mecánicas, SA in Barcelona between 1958 and 1964.
The company, located at No. 14-20 Christopher Street Moura de Barcelona initially was engaged in stamping metal parts for the automotive industry, for electrical engineering, as well as for some branches of the textile industry. In 1952, the company's staff consisted of 15 people, which increased to 25 by 1959.
Since 1956 they began to produce the first tricycle model called Pato, because its front wings looked like a duck.
The first motorcycle was released in 1958 and the production began in 1960: a futuristic Rallye model was available in two engine variants: 197 cc engine Hispano Villiers and 250cc (bi-cylindrical).
In 1965, coinciding with the start of the Hispano Villiers engine production for mopeds, the production of the two models (Turisme and Sport) began, which were equipped with the same engine of 50cc capacity with a nominal power of 2 hp at 5,500 rpm and two switches for three speeds: remotely by foot and hand. The maximum speed: 50 km / h, the fuel consumption of 1.5 liters per 100 km.
