Edeta a Catalan motorcycle brand was produced between 1955 and 1961 by Ripollet, Vallès Occidental.
Edeta (Edeta Industrias Mecanicas, Barcelona) was a continuation of the old motorcycle brand Semior, produced in Barcelona between 1952 and 1954.
The first version was released with an engine of 175 cc, as Semior, but the cardan gear was substituted with a classic chain. Later sports models with engines Gnome Rhone (produced under license, the Barcelona company Altosen) were made, the engines Hispano Villiers were used afterwards.
