1924 Salvador 125 cc
(Barcelona)
Exhibit: Alfredo Anguiano
Salvador was a Catalan motorcycles brand produced in Barcelona between 1923 and 1930 by a famous manufacturer of tires and wheels. The company belonged to Salvador Grau Just.
Les Salvador had a whole range of single-cylinder engines from 125cc up to two-cylinder 350 cc engines, both two-stroke and four-stroke (Train, Moser and MAG).
Like other motorcycle manufacturers, Salvador Grau began the production of autociclo (also called cycle-car) at his factory. His car was equipped with a 2-cylinder engine MAG V. A simple but well-linked car version with an independent front suspension with double transverse leaf springs and a drive shaft was issued in the result. A few copies of Salvador cars are extant, one of which with R517 chassis number is in the museum Collecio D'automobils Salvador Claret ( 360carmuseum.com ).
