The Volga GAZ ГАЗ-3111 is a Russian passenger executive car (segment Е2 according to European classification), produced experimentally in 1998—2004 by Gorky automobile plant.
The first cobbled unit demonstrator GAZ-3111 was made of carbon-plastic in cooperation with the American company “Venture Industries” (represented technological services on the production of the components for the first prototype assembly) in August 1998. This sample was introduced to the public at Moscow International Car Fair “Motor Show-98”.
The years of GAZ-3111 production:
• 2000 — 53 items
• 2001—342 items
• 2002 — 20 items
Altogether during production period there were made 415 cars.
• 2004 — 9 items
The 3111looks like a very dynamic and handsome car. Rounded lines provide a perfect air shape and convex doors hide a strong defense from side shocks. The front drop-shaped headlamps with a dipped headlight in the form of a spotlight with a lens, and a main headlight, in which a light beam is created by a reflector (the most update decision) have lens without diffuser. There is another concept of the back lamps: nine LED are under the diffuser.
A front suspension and full-hydraulic power assisted steering are absolutely new units in the GAZ — 3111.
