The GAZ-3110 is a Russian passenger car of the “Volga” family by Gorky plant production. The GAZ-3110 was produced commercially from 1997 till 2005.
The GAZ-3110 received a steering booster, front disk brakes of the Lucas type, a solid back axle, a drive shaft with a center bearing, more low-profile 15-inch wheels 195/65, a power corrector of headlamps, an oil cooler, which is rather rear in passenger cars, heating of wind-screen washer jets and a dual-mode rear screen demist. Since 2001 all the cars “Volga” were painted at the new paint equipment “Haiden-2”. A new technology of coating and painting made possible to apply two-component enamel “metallic” and in the meantime to increase the service life of the body. A front ball-joint suspension appeared in the Volga in May 2002.
Thanks to the desirable consuming qualities (good hardness and capacity in combination with a reasonable price) the car became very popular on the territory of Russia.
