Antonio Diaz and Mario Grillo were the two mechanics who in 1915 founded the company Fabrica Espanola de Automoviles Diaz y Grillo, which started to manufacture cars. They developed a "cycle-car", which was equipped with 2 or 4-cylinder engines Mag.
The cars quickly became popular for their reliability and were exhibited at the motor show in Madrid in 1919. In 1922 due to lower demand they decided to shut down the company.
