1972 Selex ST3 D

The company "Amortiguadores Selex" was founded in Barcelona in 1960 by a certain Miguel Molons for production and repair of shock absorbers. In 1969 he founded the Selex Competicion for the production of racing cars for the Spanish market.

In 1969, Selex began building racing cars for the national formula Formula Nacional, which fully complied with international regulations of Formula III. Thus the model ST2 appeared which, however, was quite unfinished.

During the modernization in 1970 the model ST3 came into being, which became practically the founder of a new local racing class F-1430. It was the most victorious model of the company Selex.
